The close proximity of Botswana's Chobe National Park to the Victoria Falls provides an ideal opportunity to visit this unspoilt wilderness. The park is situated on the flood plains of the Chobe River, one of the Zambezi's main tributaries. Measuring in excess of 12 000 square kilometres it is home to a great abundance of game often occurring in great herds. It is usual for visitors to see elephant, buffalo, sable, eland, kudu, waterbuck, zebra, wildebeest, hippo, crocodile, all of the predators and more than 400 species of birds. Your well-appointed lodge is situated on the banks of the Chobe River.

In the morning cross the Zambezi River and transfer by road to your lodge on the Chobe River on the edge of the Chobe Game Reserve. The attractive chalets are surrounded by giant ebony, wild fig and mahogany trees. Enjoy an afternoon river cruise which is a magnificent way of seeing Africa's big game, accompanied by the haunting cry of the Fish Eagle. All meals and game activities are included.
Wake up to the chatter of birds for your early morning game drive. Other activities include river cruises and bird watching. The nearby crocodile ranch contains some "ancient" specimens which are among the largest alive. The lush vegetation, magnificent bird life and numbers of elephants recall Africa as it must have been hundreds of years ago. All meals and game activities are included.
