The close proximity of Botswana's Chobe National Park to the Victoria Falls provides an ideal opportunity to visit this unspoilt wilderness. The park is situated on the flood plains of the Chobe River, one of the Zambezi's main tributaries. Measuring in excess of 12 000 square kilometres it is home to a great abundance of game often occurring in great herds. It is usual for visitors to see elephant, buffalo, sable, eland, kudu, waterbuck, zebra, wildebeest, hippo, crocodile, all of the predators and more than 400 species of birds. Your well-appointed lodge is situated on the banks of the Chobe River.
