CAPE TOWN
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and drive to your hotel in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Drive via three spectacular mountain passes (Sir Lowry's, Franschhoek and Du Toitskloof) to Tulbagh. Overnight in this beautifully restored 18th century town with its many Cape Dutch buildings. |

WORCESTER
Drive to Worcester winding your way through vineyards and orchards as you traverse the Breede Valley. Overnight at a wine estate. |

OUDTSHOORN
Follow the historic Route 62 to Oudtshoorn. This is a route of contrasts where lush vineyards and orchards alternate with semi-desert scenery. Drive along winding mountain passes and spectacular canyons, stop at and explore quaint villages along the way. Overnight in Oudtshoorn, ostrich capital of the world, where you can enjoy an ostrich dish at one of the highly rated restaurants. |

OUDTSHOORN
Several activities await you: Visit an ostrich show farm and ride one of these huge flightless birds; The Cango Wildlife Ranch breeds the endangered cheetah and you can dive with crocodiles; explore the limestone Cango Caves; drive along the Swartberg Mountain Pass where from the top on a clear day you can see for 200 kilometres. Overnight in Oudtshoorn. |
| Day 8 & 9 |
KNYSNA
Head south via the towering Robinson Pass to Mossel Bay, one of South Africa's favourite seaside towns. The road passes through the beautiful lake district near Wilderness before reaching Knysna, the jewel of the Garden Route where you will spend the night. Explore the Knysna estuary on a boat trip to The Heads, two giant sandstone cliffs at the entrance to the lagoon, swim at Brenton-on Sea, enjoy a game of golf at the excellent Pezula resort, visit Monkeyland and Birds of Eden near Plettenberg Bay. And enjoy the oysters for which the town is famous. |

ADDO
Drive via Port Elizabeth to the Addo Elephant National Park, the world's first "Big Seven" Game Reserve in the malaria free Eastern Cape. Overnight in the Park. Hunt with your camera and binoculars for the sometimes elusive big game in the Park. Also recommended is an Elephant Back safari near Addo. Overnight in the Park. |

PATERSON
Ensure that you encounter all of the famous big game of South Africa by visiting a Private Game Reserve in the Paterson area. Your stay includes all game activities and all meals. Overnight near Paterson. |
